Mahindra Conveyor Systems (MCS), a leading supplier of material handling equipment and systems, inaugurated its new facility at Ambadwet in Pirangut, Pune. It comprises of factory sheds of approx 10,000 sq. m. which are equipped for manufacturing and surface finishing and an office block spread across 1100 sq. m. The new facility was inaugurated by Zhooben Bhiwandiwala, Executive Vice-President & Managing Partner – Mahindra Partners Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. Ravindra Vaidya, CEO, Mahindra Conveyor Systems Pvt. Ltd. was also present at the function. Yohei Kataoka, Director, Tsubakimoto Chain Company, a parent company of Tsubakimoto Bulk Systems Corporation, was the chief guest. He was accompanied by Satoshi Matsumiya, President, Tsubakimoto Bulk Systems Corporation. “Our new Ambadwet facility incorporates the latest facilities for fabrication of conveyor systems and components and will cater to the growing demand for conveyor products. It boasts of a 10,000 sq. mt fabrication facility with modern equipment, including metal forming and welding equipment, shot blasting, paint booth and oven. It also has a waste and effluent treatment plant to treat and recycle waste generated during the manufacturing process,” said Bhiwandiwala. Mahindra Conveyor Systems Pvt.
